We salute Shane Truitt - Shane has a distinguished career in firefighting, beginning as a junior member at Roxana Volunteer Fire Company in 1996 before moving to Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company in 2003, where he rose to Fire Chief. Residing in Ocean View, DE, for 16 years, Shane also serves full-time at Christiana Fire Company in Christiana, Delaware. Starting as a Firefighter/EMT, he advanced to Lieutenant and then to Captain in 2019, showcasing his leadership and dedication to the fire service.
